A project of white asphalt for a safe access route starting from station Duivendrecht, going through the park to Amsterdam Arena has been carried out, commissioned by the municipality of Amsterdam. Pedestrians and cyclists didn’t feel safe using this route during the evening and night. By providing the road with white coloured asphalt, it increased its light reflection and visibility, resulting in a better sense of social security!
